Ubiquity is the third album from A_A, the project of Satoshi Tomiie and Nao Gunji. Across Ubiquity, Rose, Yuw, 96 Dub and the five tracks that follow, house and dub techno provide the underlying structure while sampled material, live instruments and more abstract electronics keep pulling it somewhere less predictable.
There’s plenty of rhythm across the record, but just as much attention given to space and texture. Nine tracks spread across a 2LP, with one black disc and one transparent silver disc.
