Anders Hajem makes his space•lab debut with four tracks moving through different sides of dark, psychedelic techno. E44Z leads with driving rhythm and serrated synth work, while X66Y pushes the sound sideways with a more pronounced psy influence and sci-fi detail.
A44Z settles further into repetition and hypnotic movement before Absorbe strips the arrangement back around a deep rolling bassline, sparse percussion and eerie space. Four distinct cuts, but the tension and rhythmic focus hold the EP together.
