Spacious Heart is the debut solo album from Los Angeles musician and Total Blue member Anthony Calonico. Written and recorded between 2020 and 2024, the eight-track 2LP moves between songs and instrumentals, with warm keyboards, synthesizers and open arrangements giving the record plenty of room to breathe.

Ether, Gray Glow, Baka Dom and Soft Blue lean toward the instrumental side, while Hillside, Whispers and Who Am I bring Calonico’s voice further forward. Ambient, spiritual jazz and soft-rock influences sit comfortably together without the record feeling tied to any one of them.
