Bristol-based producer Arkist, known for his versatility and past releases with acclaimed imprints like Hotflush and Hypercolour, presents a fresh project under the alias 'Astrocat' in the 'Astrocat EP.' This debut 12-inch release marks a return to the studio after a few years, offering a blend of vocoder-infused funk and top-tier disco vibes. Prepare for a sonic journey filled with vintage talk box vocals, warm spacey chords, and infectious basslines that pay homage to the classics from Zapp and The Rah Band.
