Beste Hira – MP10
Magic Power (MP10)
Beste Hira keeps things lean and hypnotic, with Loidis stretching Jaja into the record’s long final turn.
MP10 brings three Beste Hira originals to Magic Power: Chess, Liquid and Jaja. The record sits in that deeper, more minimal end of techno where the groove does most of the talking and nothing feels overworked.
Loidis — aka Huerco S. — closes things out with a nine-minute Last Call Mix of Jaja, opening the track up without losing the restraint of the original. A very measured 12-inch, and a good fit for the quieter, more patient side of the Magic Power catalogue.
