Brain Cells opens the Slippery Yard catalogue with six cuts shaped around pressure, texture and controlled movement. A.Morgan, dc11, Judy, Arthur Robert, Bassywax and Mathys Lenne each bring a different angle, but the record stays locked into hypnotic techno rather than drifting into a loose compilation feel.
The pressing is limited to 300 copies, with colour artwork sleeve design by Fredonné. Across the record, the sound moves from lean, rolling percussion into deeper low-end detail and sharper closing tension, giving SY01 a clear first statement for the label.
