Melbourne/Naarm producer Coloursound makes his debut with “Sierra,” “Betawaves,” “Liquid” and “Foresight.” Across the four vinyl tracks, heavyweight low end and rolling percussion sit beneath spaced-out atmospheres, manipulated vocals and finely worked electronic detail.

New World moves between dubstep, techno and experimental bass without settling firmly into any one form. Dub-influenced foundations run throughout, while shifting rhythms and futuristic sound design give the record its off-centre club character.
