COW – Open The Closed
UMAY (UMAY012)
Perth producer COW keeps the techno fast, hypnotic and just unpredictable enough on Open The Closed.
Open The Closed brings four COW tracks to UMAY: Shinkansen, Velvet, Cobra and Dead Air. The idea behind the EP is about questioning the things we rule out too quickly, and that same sense of curiosity runs through the record.
The pace stays high, but the tracks don’t just sit on one loop and hammer away. Rhythms shift, textures creep in and the arrangements keep moving, giving the 12-inch a slightly stranger edge than straight peak-time techno.
Ships fast Australia-wide.
