CRYME heads further into dub territory on Nebulas Dream, building four tracks around weighty low end, clipped percussion and chords given plenty of room to move. Nebulas Dream and Astral Passage establish the record’s deep, slightly off-centre house feel without burying the groove under too much atmosphere.
Plutos Last Breath and Winds Across Uranus pull the sound closer to dub techno and tech house, keeping the drums firm while the chords and delays stretch further out. The whole EP stays remarkably focused: dub-heavy house with enough space in the mix to let each small shift register.
