Daïf brings four stripped-back electro cuts to Art of Dark. “Machine Music” locks into a stark mechanical groove, while “UFO” adds crashing drums, jittering synth patterns and a bassline carrying traces of EBM and dark wave.
“Before” raises the pace with sharper percussion and dehumanised synth work before “The Mode” closes on a lighter, more elastic groove. Precise machine music with enough movement beneath its cold surface.
