A 1993 acid oddity returns in turquoise, with weightless synths floating over a remarkably restrained 303.
Melon Ball has a softer touch than its acid credentials might suggest. Long, bright synth layers do most of the work while the 303 sits quietly underneath, leaving the track somewhere between early techno, house and the more Balearic side of the early ’90s.
Tower Skull and Water Sports complete the original three-track set on the flip. Reissued more than thirty years later, this edition comes on limited turquoise vinyl and gives a hard-to-find piece of early ’90s acid another run around.
