Unknown Species moves through bass-heavy tech house, deep techno and trance-leaning club rhythm, led by a warped low-end line, tight percussion and chopped vocal details. The original has a murky, rolling feel, while Konduku’s remix strips it back into a more controlled, hypnotic version.

Released on Earth Dog as ED012, the vinyl carries four tracks: Unknown Species, Unknown Species (Konduku Remix), Datura and Earth Dub 2°. The B-side opens the record out further, moving from elastic bass movement into a smoother, more progressive closing cut.
