DOLTZ. returns to DJ Nobu’s Bitta with an eight-track double album partly inspired by Kōbō Abe’s Woman in the Dunes. “In the Dune,” “Terminal State,” “Faz” and “Resonance” establish a repetitive, tactile framework where tonal loops, static and tightly controlled rhythms shift gradually over time.

“Static Memory,” “Edge of Matter,” “Final Trace” and “DPO / LFO” continue through deep, hypnotic techno built on subtle progression rather than abrupt changes. Pressed across two records, Final Trace pairs detailed synthesis with an insistent rhythmic pull that continually changes beneath the surface.
