Dreamcastmoe and Sami pick things back up with four tracks for Sami’s new New Day label. “Skip The Line” has a crunchy, mid-2000s house feel, while “Freaks Come Out At Night” strips things back around a chunky groove and small fragments of Dreamcastmoe’s voice.
“Fuck Your Rules” comes in with a little more attitude before “Hold Me Close” softens things out with falsetto vocals and glimmering chords. Tough in places, sentimental in others, and nicely balanced between tech house and straight-up house.
