Four very different takes on the deeper end of club music, moving through trance, progressive grooves, breaks and jungle.
EC137 brings together Alfred Czital, Jamida, Polygonia and Andy Garvey for a nicely varied Harmony compilation. It’s Me BB opens on a trancey, rhythm-heavy note before Jamida’s Lots Of Love softens things with vocals and a more melodic progressive feel.
The flip gets less straightforward. Polygonia’s Akkala works intricate percussion into a broken groove, while Andy Garvey’s Euphorique takes the record out through pads, fractured drums and a more jungle-leaning finish. Four tracks that cover a fair bit of ground without feeling randomly thrown together.
