Fergus Sweetland pares everything back here, leaving four strange, physical techno cuts with nowhere for the details to hide.

Tickle My Tism starts with a small set of elements and lets Sweetland’s low end and sound design do the heavy lifting. Trouble In The Bubble heads somewhere darker and dubbier before Nørbak takes the same track even leaner on his PTG remix, putting a little more emphasis on the rhythm underneath.

Mind Easer closes things on a calmer note, written as something reassuring for a fellow “duck” — the shorthand between friends that gives the record its name. Four tracks built around the idea that less can do more, and fittingly the first vinyl release from Sweetland’s own Pressure Systems imprint.
