Forest Witches – Awaken The Woods
Junction Forest (SHROOM12)
Progressive trance and techno cut with angular electro rhythms, high-register synths and serious low-end weight.
Forest Witches — Sun Choi and S.O.N.S — return to Junction Forest following their 2024 Duality release. Awaken The Woods is a four-track 12-inch sitting between progressive trance, techno and left-field electro, with bright synth lines, clipped drum patterns and heavy bass pressure running through the record.
Cold Moon, Monastery, Sylvan Heartbeat and Healing make up the release. Rather than settling fully into one style, the record moves between trance momentum and the sharper rhythmic shapes of electro, giving this Forest Witches return a slightly stranger edge.
