Jesper "Bellfrog" Rydberg – A Different Saga EP
Börft Records (BORFT181)
Six loose acid-house cuts with electronic disco in the mix and a real ’90s instinct behind them.
Jesper "Bellfrog" Rydberg, also known around Helsingborg as DJ Jespha Galore, lands on Börft with A Different Saga EP. Recorded in early 2026 from a studio built into an old cinema lobby in central Helsingborg, the six-track 12-inch sits right between acid house and electronic disco.
There’s a raw, uncomplicated feel to the record, with house at the centre and plenty of acid running through it. The ’90s influence is obvious, but it never comes across like a throwback exercise — more the sound of someone who was there, still making it his own way.
