A Way Out is the debut album from Amsterdam guitarist Johnny Biner, following his 2023 Don't Ask Me / Way Too Long 7-inch. Across eight tracks, his guitar stays at the centre while the record moves naturally between modern jazz, funk and soul, from the heavier groove of Tonic Water to the samba-influenced Pick It Up.
Luminescence features flute from Fanni Zahár, while Unconditional Love brings in TOS on vocals. The whole record has an easy live feel without becoming too polished or straight-laced. Pressed as a limited vinyl edition of 300 copies.
