Stripped techno from Kabay and Hyden, split across two sides of Clergy pressure.

Splits 01 gives Kabay and Hyden one side each, with six tracks built around tight rhythm, dark synth movement and a stripped-back sense of control. Kabay’s side works through pumping drums, lower-slung tension and more skeletal patterns, while Hyden keeps the B-side sharp with cinematic detail and futuristic sound design.

Released on Clergy as CRG039, the record keeps close to the label’s direct techno language without feeling overly rigid. It is rhythm-first, but there is enough atmosphere in the synth work and percussion to give each cut its own shape.
