Kaspiann – SENSE004
Sense Code (SENSE004)
Kaspiann brings his psychedelic approach to Sense Code with deep, hypnotic techno that refuses to settle into one pace.
Helsinki producer Kaspiann takes over the fourth Sense Code release with Rämesavu, Jääkello, Konnankuvatus and Tuhosokeus. The record draws on deep techno and forest-psy influences, keeping the rhythms stripped while stranger textures and tonal details move around them.
Jääkello slows things down noticeably before the second half gathers momentum again, giving SENSE004 a shape that feels less predictable than a straight run of techno cuts. Psychedelic, spacious and slightly odd in the right places.
