"Creak-whoosh" is a captivating collection of choral ballads rooted in the Finno-Ugric regions of Estonia and Ingria. These traditional melodies have been artfully adapted for the electronic realm, with Olev Muska and Mihkel Tartu leading the charge. Drawing inspiration from the innovative arrangements of Veljo Tormis, this project, initially known as "Kiri-uu," is a testament to the enduring power of music and culture. Despite being raised thousands of miles away in Sydney, Australia, the children of Estonian refugees have crafted a remarkable sonic journey.
