Feather World brings Kuniyuki Takahashi’s deep house language into a wider jazz and electronic frame, moving through live-feeling percussion, soft melodic detail, spoken voice and spacious arrangement. It has the open, musical feel of his album work, with rhythm always sitting underneath the more atmospheric pieces.

Originally released on CD in 2013, this Mule Musiq vinyl edition brings the album to 2LP and is limited to 500 copies. Bugge Wesseltoft, Anne Clark, Henrik Schwarz, Fumio Itabashi, Sona Diabate, Tetsuro Kawashima and Joyce Bowden appear across the record, giving it a broad mix of jazz, soul, African rhythm and modern electronic music.
