Lewis Fautzi keeps this one under tension — five cuts of deep, tightly wound techno with plenty happening below the surface.

Beneath The Surface and The Hollow Cycle establish the mood with heavy low end, looping percussion and small details slowly working their way through the pressure. Inner Mechanism and Nonlinear Form stay deep on the flip before Anamorph shifts into a more broken rhythm to close the vinyl.

It’s Fautzi’s first Mutual Rytm release under his own name, following an earlier appearance on the label as Non Cyclic. Five tracks make the physical cut, moving between driving, hypnotic and more textural techno without straying too far from the darker sound he’s built his name around.
