The Lost Tape finds LYMA and Rebiere returning to material connected to the sessions that came before On My Way. Rather than trying to rebuild the recordings that disappeared with a stolen laptop, LIKEMINDS reshaped the surviving demos into ten tracks including Basement Party, Wait For The Sunshine, Keep U Warm and Katsu Sunrise.
Across the second side, Deadweight, Boomklap, Lifeline and How I Need Your Love keep things low-slung and soulful, with woozy synths and loose electronic detail running underneath. Bo Floor and Gino Groeneveld of Jungle By Night also contribute to the finished recordings.
