Lobster keeps this one slightly crooked — five rolling techno cuts with plenty happening just outside the groove.
Silver Sally and Fenris take the A-side with tight percussion, restless synth work and a raw, forward-moving feel. Zykr opens the reverse at a slightly deeper pace before Multishot brings the drums back into sharper focus, leaving Devil’s Creek to close things out.
Across five tracks, Lobster moves through driving, raw and more hypnotic forms of techno without ironing out the stranger details in his sound. Following an earlier appearance on Vault Records’ VS11YRS compilation, Zykr gives him a full EP to stretch that approach across the label.
