Six heavy techno cuts split between swing, pressure and darker atmospheres.

Obscure Shape takes the A-side with “Desire,” “You and Me” and “Things We Never Shared.” Big drums and plenty of weight up front, but there’s still a nice amount of swing and dubby space running underneath it all.

Maharti handles the reverse with “Tukje doen,” “Nekker” and “Rosswell,” taking things somewhere darker and a little stranger. Less blunt, more atmospheric, but still very much built for the same room. A solid second entry in Clergy’s Splits series.
