Songs Before Bed (2022) is the first physical release under Otto Benson’s own name, following earlier work as Memo Boy, OTTO and Pudding Club. Originally released digitally on New Year’s Eve 2022, the twelve-track album moves freely between melodic guitar, soft-focus electronics and brief song fragments, with River Dream, Another Long Day and Histamine giving the longer ideas room to stretch out.

Apogamy, Tuning In and Out and Good Night Mantra push further into ambient and IDM territory without losing the homemade feel running through the record. Remastered for vinyl by Stephan Mathieu and pressed on Sonopress EcoRecord, a PET-based alternative to conventional PVC.
