Virtus Occulta keeps its weight in the low end and does not move far from that centre. Ribé & Roll Dann keep the record blunt and disciplined, with each cut pushing forward through dense percussion, dubby undertow and a tighter kind of restraint.

The vinyl holds to five core tracks: Sub Terra, Extra Lumen, Ars Non Placens, Meritum Negatum and Virtus Persistens. It starts more front-footed, then settles into something smokier and more inward on the later side without dropping the pressure.
