SoFa, Houschyar, and Okay Temiz join forces for a special one-off album on Second Circle. Şelale (LP) SC019 is the outcome of a series of sessions that began in Istanbul in 2018. SoFa and Houschyar first collaborated for a set of smoky jams in an apartment and later spontaneously visited legendary Turkish drummer and percussionist Okay Temiz, resulting in a trio. Okay Temiz, known for his groundbreaking work with The Don Cherry Trio and Oriental Wind, contributes his unique percussive talent, utilising homebuilt instruments and adding his expertise to create a mesmerising fusion of psychedelic synthesiser and drum computer jams.
