Kybalion keeps things tight and low-slung, with the record leaning on weight, control and a darker kind of movement rather than obvious lift. The sound stays stripped and pointed, but there is enough variation across the cuts to keep the EP from flattening out.

The vinyl runs across four tracks: The Hills, Seven Paths, Semantics and Pantheon. Three cuts are by Sons of Hidden & Advanced Transistor together, while Seven Paths is credited to Sons of Hidden solo, which gives the EP a slight shift in balance without breaking its shape.
