The Mountain People return with Raw Pitch, opening on a title track that keeps things melancholic but firmly in motion through loose claps, soft pads and a steadily deepening groove. Mountain008.3 follows on the B-side, remastered from its original 2009 digital release and pressed to vinyl here for the first time.
Dachkantine06 rounds things out with a leaner groove and sharper chord movement, giving the three-track record a nice balance between current deep house and the duo’s older tech-house sound. Limited to 500 copies, mastered and cut by Andreas Kauffelt at Schnittstelle Berlin.
