Four Shades of Deep and Driving Techno on One Slab

Originally released in 2019, Time & Space EP brings together four producers doing their own thing within the techno spectrum. Vinicius Honorio opens with the title track — tense and propulsive. Berg Jaär follows with “Masam (Chord Mix),” stretching into dubbed-out territory with thick atmospheres and locked-in groove.

Rorsch picks things up with “Eclipse,” a moody, broken-beat stomper. Linn Elisabet closes the record with “Remain Them,” a sharper, more metallic tool that still holds a sense of restraint. As always with Planet Rhythm, it’s functional, heavy, and best heard loud.
