Heavy Bristol dub with a rougher low end than the artwork lets on.
Rising High LP keeps its centre in bass weight, space and pressure rather than ornament. Tubby Isiah works the record through stripped dub, dubstep and soundsystem logic, with each cut landing firm and unhurried instead of rushing for effect.
This 2025 repress keeps the original 10-track LP sequence and comes on green marbled vinyl with a printed sleeve and download code. It is a reissue of the 2020 album, following the 2022 repress, so the appeal here is the format and pressing rather than new material.
