Various Artists – Slap Wax 1
RAWAX (RWXSFK01)
RAWAX and SlapFunk link up for four house cuts from Samuel Deep, William Caycedo, Locklead and Julian Alexander.
Originally released in 2018, Slap Wax 1 brings four names from the SlapFunk circle onto one RAWAX 12-inch. Samuel Deep’s Ghetto DS opens the record alongside William Caycedo’s Sswitch, with Locklead’s C.O.P. and Julian Alexander’s 2SI Universe on the flip.
House is the common thread across the four tracks, with a Chicago lean around the release without forcing everyone into exactly the same sound. Now back as a 2026 repress — a neat snapshot of the RAWAX and SlapFunk connection.
