Various Artists – Happy Jackin' Birthday!
Snuff Trax (STX010)
Four older Snuff Trax cuts handed over for a fresh round of house and acid reworks.
Happy Jackin' Birthday! marked STX010 with four artists digging back into the Snuff Trax catalogue. Mr. White edits Snuff Crew’s Are You House, Humandrone takes on Perseus Traxx’s Don’t Feel Alone, and Takeshi Kouzuki reworks Raiders Of The Lost ARP’s Stealing My Love.
DimDJ finishes the 12-inch with his Space Midi Remix of Elec Pt.1’s Galaxian Journey. Different hands on each track, but the house and acid thread keeps the record together nicely — a simple anniversary release built from material already close to the label.
