Private Press step into their W.A.C. mode with the tempo intact but the colours shifted firmly toward prog, trance and breaks.
No More No Show opens on broken drums, heavy bass and flashes of acid, before Rhyw pulls it apart into something much sparser and more dub-minded. The remix keeps only a small part of the original framework, leaving plenty of room around the low end and percussion.
Only Froggerz brings the brighter side back in with rolling kicks and shifting synth work, while Close finishes on straight-up modern prog with a skippy bassline, filtered squelches and tribal-leaning percussion. Four tracks that move well beyond the duo’s tougher techno material without losing any of the pace.
